A young college student gets himself tangled with a mysterious man who goes by the name of Lex. At first, he finds attraction to Lex's private nature, and the sex is a big incentive. But how far is he willing to go and what compromises is he willing to make for a man who won't even share his real name?

When fourteen-year-old Daniel and his mother are kicked out by his stepfather, they have to move to a housing estate in a different part of town, and Daniel has to change schools. He has a hard time making friends, and it only gets worse when one of his classmates takes a rather unhealthy interest in him. His only comfort, to his great surprise, turns out to be the last person he could have expected; the popular and gorgeous Michael Storm.

Young Danny has suddenly found himself having strange and powerful feelings for another boy for the very first time. He's never experienced any homoerotic feelings before...but one day, out of the blue...it was like he couldn't live without him. Almost as if a 'spell' had been cast upon him. So the real question is...why is he feeling this way? What does he plan to do about it? And...

...Just how deep do those feelings go?

Hiding part of what makes you who you are may sometimes seem necessary. And sometimes you may hide a part of yourself so well that you don't even realise that it exists. Danny Murphy seems to be living a charmed life. But he has a secret; one that he tries to keep so well hidden that he doesn't even want to admit it to himself. Sean is a troubled young man. Some of the things he does might be considered to be not all that well thought out. At times all his family and friends, particularly his older friend, Johnny (the narrator of these fragments of Sean's life), can do is to be there for him, and help him to pick up the pieces when things go wrong. Even when, sometimes, Sean himself doesn't even seem to want to pick up the pieces.

After a tragic accident brings his old life in London to an end, shy teenager Gianni is sent to live with his estranged grandparents in the beautiful surroundings of Italy’s Amalfi Coast.

There, he meets the irrepressible Angelo, who promises to show him his world and, as the long, hot summer days unfold, slowly helps Gianni to heal.

Gianni’s new life in the sun brings him friendship of a kind that he has never known and, with it, important discoveries about himself. But what will the future hold when the summer of the firefly comes to an end?

One evening, in one man’s life when everything will change.

Shaun’s disabled leg has affected his entire life, causing a downward spiral he neither likes nor can live with. It is not just that his life is on hold, it is now falling backwards. On holiday in Scarborough (A northern English seaside resort), he finally faces the realities of his life and decides to take matters into his own hands. A walk along the town’s promenade to clear his thoughts and to help him make up his mind, if only the town’s numerous seagulls would stop following him.
