Love isn't always simple.

This was a story inspired by KC Grim's piece 'A Bastard Named Sleep'. I liked the idea the Dream was personified. I wanted to see what I could do with that idea. So here is my take on it - Dream's World. Here is the world we all go to when we close our eyes and dream. Whether it is a dream of flying or being chased, of new inventions or scary monsters, it all comes from the world where Dream rules. Come visit his world and see what you can see.

While digging through some boxes of Christmas stuff, I found this old poem that I wrote for my grandmother many years ago.

Timothy is the school good boy. It's prom time and he wants to shed his teacher's pet image. So he asks out the baddest boy in school. Will he have the time of his life, or live to regret it?

Trent's trying to write a new story, but gets interrupted by his boyfriend.

Gabriel is in the hospital and is gravely ill. After going unconscious as a result of the sickness he awakes to a surreal environment and takes an unexpected journey.

I had never kissed anybody before tonight.

Something about it was so electric. So surreal. I kept trying to use enough of my practiced sense of teenage 'cool' to determine whether or not this whole experience was really happening to me...but my mind kept drifting off, mid thought. Carried away by the powerful current of untapped hormones and unexplored feelings within me. Dizzy. Lost. Swept up in the undertow of a moment for which I had no previous precedent.

James Esposito grew up projects in Brooklyn in the 1980's. His whole life being haunted by his fear of turning into his abusive alcoholic father. While has parents come in and out of his life, he finds guidance in his English teacher who his helps explore his love for writing and to come to terms with his sexuality, discovering that he is falling madly in love with his best friend. James battles himself and his close-minded environment to come out and find who he truly is.

Rick's cheating started a chain that left Daniel... changed.
