Ben is lonely and tired of drifting through life aimlessly, but one day he suddenly finds a young man sleeping in the staircase of his building. He looks the worse for wear and reeks of alcohol, so Ben decides to help him, but after waking up the drunken troublemaker he quickly realizes that he was not prepared for what he has unleashed.

Jacob has a bad dose of jitters. He has conspired with the help of his best friend Sophia to cover for him. The reason as to all the secrecy is, of course, Jacobs growing interest in a shy, cute boy from the same homeroom as him in school. Sophia and Jacob pick the perfect night to unravel such a plan. The 8th-grade dance; and Jacobs first dance at that too. He is dressed to impress; lets hope he makes an impression for the boy he is longing to meet.

Meadowbrooks was the kind of town you dreamed of escaping from. Conservative, redneck and anti anything progressive. Bryan had an escape plan though. Follow his parents wishes for one more year and they would pay for his freedom. It was working out well so far. He had friends. He had a job. He was just biding his time but he didn't plan on being the one thing this town hated most: Gay. Could he keep his secret long enough to get out of Meadowbrook? Would his friends still stick by his side if they knew? Would he be able to hide his feelings for Rob? Would things be any different out there in the "real" world?

It was a gift and now it's time to return it.

On his trip to Mars, Jeff's shuttle gets dragged through space by an alien spaceship that is performing a space jump. The Daglon captain Lest takes Jeff on board of his ship and Jeff's journey through space begins. The crew chases Ezer Malk, who plans a space-time jump in order to steal Ancient Egypt artifacts from Earth. Lest is an outlaw and Jeff is lost in space. Will the two men get to know each other, will Lest come to terms with his past, and will Jeff find his place in the world?
