When she offers her six bedroom Hamptons house as a wedding present, Trout has a dilemma; in the world of fake news, could he be forgiven for seeking out a fake wife?

Writers make mistakes, especially when writing quickly. Students make mistakes, even when writing slowly. Students writing quickly often make lots of mistakes, and they get unintentionally funny. Here are some of them.

In Germany, it appears there's a whole cult that collects these. In America, we largely have the popular British book Eats Shoots and Leaves by Lynne Truss. This collection follows both of those.

A friendly caution: A little of these goes a long way, so don't try to read them all at once. They get less funny. Very less funny. Far less funny. Oh so less funny. You were warned.

Matt and Andy are struggling with their sexuality along with the trials and tribulations that come with being a teenager. Decisions they make cause them to tie knots in their lives that have both good and bad consequences.

Bodark Creek is a small, former mill town, north of Dallas and close to the Oklahoma border. Starting in 1908, Addy Bronner Braden spends most of her very long life there, surrounded by her large, close family. She loves them, leads them, and depends on them.

There is one gay person in this book – my husband. That makes sense, since the book is based on one half of his family tree. But he only turns up at the very end and as a visitor. And that about defines the relationship between gay people and this part of his family.

I occasionally try my hand at writing haiku. I'm not claiming that any of it is really all that good. And some haiku purists might even claim that I don't always follow the rules of haiku correctly. Indeed some of my attempts could be more correctly classified as senryu, rather than haiku.

Be all that as it may, I shall add my individual attempts over the next while. Some have been written many years ago. Others will be more recent.

As the occasional offering may be somewhat dark in nature, I shall give the collection a rating of Mature. I will give individual chapter warnings where necessary

Knots 2 covers their sophomore year and the knots they tie in their lives.

A small fishing village on the North West corner of the US lies a fishing boat, the Scuffy. It lies at the wharf across from a friendly tavern, called The Wharf, which is a hangout for the captains of the fishing boats. One boat is different as it is manned by a very young crew.
