Dorian Chase is a thirty-three-year-old Detective in Narcotics Investigations. Felix is an eighteen-year-old runaway who knows exactly what--and who--he wants.
The rigid lines Dorian allows himself to live within start to blur as Felix's existence in his life gives him permission to discover who he is and what he wants.

In the homophobic atmosphere of Sydney during the Roaring Twenties, gay policeman Constable Paddy Langdon was anxious to avoid any deep emotional commitments. Then he met a young man at a seedy Turkish Bathhouse and they fell deeply in love. Gang violence had become an issue, intensifying when gangs began to use a cheap barbers razor as a weapon of choice; this deadly item being used to cut, mutilate and kill rivals.

The streets are empty; children sleep snuggly and safely in their beds. Parents are watching the latest episode of Chicago Fire, but Gavin is skateboarding alone, heading for Wickham Bridge. The local meet up spot, where junkies hang out hoping to shoot up, and individuals with darker motives prowl, waiting in the shadows. Gavin knows who is waiting. He must make a decision. Will it be good or bad?

Bear's sick of picking the wrong man. He works in a friend's bar, though, so the offers to hop into bed, or the nearest surface, come nightly. Kameron doesn't ask him to go to bed though.
