Hey, Carlos, thanks for another journey in the CJ-verse! Not ready to wean off these family yet, thanks for the change of perspective, too, it’s a wonderful way to keep reading about the incredible characters you’ve crafted.

Slowly weaning myself from the CJverse and this was a way of milking one of those characters that sounded interesting, but I never had the chance to flesh out. Hopefully, this will even entice some of those who've never read a CJ story to take a chance on me.

What do you mean? There's people who haven't read CJ's story?🤔

I didn't know you were a New Yorker! Chipper's love for NYC is based on similar attitudes by several friends. I've been visiting the city for over half my life and have never had a bad trip.

Correction, way over half my life. The first time I was in New York I was 11, my parents took my brother and I to meet our grandfather, He had left Cuba with his new wife before I was born.

I've worked in Manhattan, but I've lived in Queens - my current home - Brooklyn and Long Island.   We all say NYC when we mean just Manhattan.  Drives me crazy but I do it, too.  Some of my favorite chapters of CJ & CO take place in the city.  

@avidreadr I hope I've done okay with my NYC descriptions. I think the only fictional locations I've used are the bar and the gym down in Chelsea. Most of the other ones I've actually been to. Last year I was there for my birthday, staying with friends who live in the same building Cesar and Brett have their apartment in. @Defiance19 came into the city and joined us for brunch before we headed out to Brooklyn. The chapter describing their trip to the Brooklyn Museum was based on our experiences that day.

In the last CJ story I posted, we find out he served as US ambassador to the United Nations/ If I ever get around to writing about that period, expect a lot more of New York. I'm dying to have CJ and Owen attend the Met Gala and some of the fashion week events.

Not sure if I'll write them all, but I'm slowly outlining spinoffs for the other Squad member. Obviously, Ethan's would take place in New York.

I very much enjoyed Chipper’s adventure! Never having actually watched The Voice I’m thinking maybe I should give it shot. The suspense and visuals were intriguing and the ending? Wow! I was wondering how that would play out. Acsimple win would have been too predictable, lol. Now on to the next member of the Squad.
