So this link was going around (thanks Drewbie!), primarily to answer the question about whether Adam Lambert is gay or not. From these pictures, he seems to be. But that's not why I'm writing this.

So the question on the poll is, do you like to kiss with your mouth open or closed? I like closed better, because for me, kissing is as much about lip contact as tongue wrestling.

Well I definitely like a lot of tongue, but I enjoy the whole experience. The initial contact of the lips, the gentle opening, the tongues making first contact, the exploration of each others' mouths. I also like lip sucking and just an ever small amount of biting. It depends on Matt and my moods really. If we haven't gone on a date for awhile or been really busy or stressed out, we go with the open mouth. If we're in public however, we usually do a peck on the lips or the cheek.

That seems very sensible. I'm perfectly comfortable with PDA, but that's Public Displays of Affection, not Public Displays of Sex. I think hand-holding, cuddling, and light kisses in public are fine and sweet. I think trying to steal your boyfriend's gum or dry humping is better done in private.

I thought I had already voted and weighed in on my opinions, but I guess I didn't.

 

Now, I don't do the.. "porn kiss" where the lips don't touch.. lol.. just an out side the mouth tongue wrestling match? It just seems too... messy so I just don't like it. I do, though, kiss open mouthed and closed. I think changing it up, is just something we do when we're feeling different things. When I know I am really attracted/bonded with the person I'm about to kiss and its a romantic setting and the lie, I will kiss with my mouth open. If its a quick thing, or a public display of affection, its just a quick, silent peck on the cheek.
