Even if you don't love it as a kid, with all the "birthday-Christmas" presents being combined, when you get older, you appreciate the choice of 2 sets of presents or ONE BIG present (er.. that's how it worked for me, at least). It's how I got my first snowboard.

January. And it's an odd fact, but on my father's side of the family (which isn't that extensive) there are 17 people among 6 brothers and sisters and their children who were all born in Janary, including myself, my father, and my nephew.

It's even odder that my dad's father, all brothers and sisters are retired military of some branch. They were all over the world. So I suppose it's a familial conscienceness (that's the wrong sp. I know) where they all suddenly decide, "Hey! let's do it. It's June after all!"

I am born in January and four of my younger brothers and sisters were also born in January. None of my brothers or sisters were born later than June.. kind of weird.
