Yes, one of my favourite books from childhood. I always get teary-eyed at the end.

I'd say this one goes to WhitePhoenix.

Your turn.

Read that and suddenly thought Minority Report by P.K. Dick (from 1956 as a short story - but you're waaaaaay too young to be referring to that :) )

I keep getting Science Fiction - Fifth Element? Or an Alan Dean Foster?

The sheep bites off the zombie's hand, stomps on its head, rips out its brain and offers it to Dr Lecter with some fava beans and bottle of chianti. :gikkle:

**Prostrates self at WhitePhoenix's feet and, after congratulating her for having stumped The Sheep that Has Read Everything, begs for a clue.**

In that case, it's something by James Patterson Posted Image - he writes everything!

Soooo. Somebody who writes everything? As in across genres? Iain Banks? Nora Roberts? Stephen King? Roald Dahl?

**grasping desperately at straws**

hmmm I know Nora Roberts writes under different pseudonyms.. But I have no idea :(

Hmmm(2) - the only thing I know about Nora Roberts is that she's been knocking novels out at a rate of one a month for some time now - Mills & Boone style (I've been a long time subscriber to Writers' News magazine)

Okay, Phoenix, bird of all knowledge, is this an original work, or is it a film adaptation? It could easily be a line from The Big Sleep - in style - but you say it's SFnal?

Hmmmm not blood and brains? Aha! You're not Le Zombie! Whoever you are, whatever you've done with him, you can keep him! :)
