Andy78 Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 I still got nothing. Got evicted from bookshop today for trying to find this and not buying anything
Xtro Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 You sure that was for just hanging around? Got to admit I've nothing here either - apart from it being SF (and I'm a loooooong time SF fan, but it doesn't ring bells for me other than genre)
Red_A Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 I still got nothing. Got evicted from bookshop today for trying to find this and not buying anything You were not that loud indivual in Foyle's were you?
Arpeggio Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 (edited) Whoever guessed Nora Roberts was correct. It's a series, I can't remember the name but the girl was Eves Dallas and by JB Robb or something but i googled his name just now and it came up Nora Roberts. In Death, JD Robb/Nora Roberts Edited October 9, 2012 by Arpeggio
comicfan Posted October 11, 2012 Posted October 11, 2012 Well there is an answer but Lacey googled it. lol.
Slytherin Posted October 11, 2012 Posted October 11, 2012 Podgas turn right ? He suggested Nora Roberts if I am not wrong
Xtro Posted October 11, 2012 Posted October 11, 2012 Maybe he turn left after his birthday? He came up with Nora Roberts, so it should be his
podga Posted October 12, 2012 Posted October 12, 2012 Well, I was thinking it's Lacey's turn, because from what I understood, he just googled the connection between Robb and Roberts. Besides, I also came up with Stephen King and Iain Banks at the same time, so I don't really feel it's my turn. But in the interests of kicking us off again, I'm happy to take another go, especially given somebody always seems to figure it out within about 3 seconds. "Logan grunted his way out of bed and into some clothes, before lurching out of his flat, down the stairs and out the main door, looking rumpled and unshaven. PC Steve, infamous for his striptease rendition of Queen's A Kind of Magic, was standing on the top step."
Slytherin Posted October 14, 2012 Posted October 14, 2012 (edited) .. Can we have a clue maybe.. Edited October 14, 2012 by CM_
podga Posted October 14, 2012 Posted October 14, 2012 Not funny, but there's a lot of humor, as well. A multi-book series, taking place in Aberdeen.
Andy78 Posted October 14, 2012 Posted October 14, 2012 So it has to be one of Stuart MacBride's then, doesn't it? Erm . . . erm . . . Bloodshot

Andy78 Posted October 20, 2012 Posted October 20, 2012 And then they simply ran out into the summer and were gone: some on bikes, some skipping, some riding invisible horses and slapping their hands against the sides of their thighs to manufacture hoofbeats, some with arms slung about each other, singing 'Mine eyes have seen the glory of the burning of the school' to the tune of 'The Battle Hymn of the Republic.'
