#1 I sometimes party at biker bars.

#2 I carry a 357 magnum revolver at almost all times.

#3 My well pump runs on solar power.

I'm going with Numero Uno... You never know who you will run into while tooling around the sticks and should be prepared to defend yourself. And the whole solar power thing just makes sense in rural locals.

Nope! Close though!

I do sometimes (maybe three times a year) party at biker bars. Some of my friends are bikers. (and no, I don't mean the Lesbian kind).

I'm going with number three as the lie. Solar power is overrated at times -- especially in winter and at night. The last thing you want is to run out of water because there's not enough sunlight to power the pump (even if you use batteries as well to store the power). Our pump is petrol powered, and can double as a fire-fighting pump if needed.

Nope! My well pump is solar, BUT, I have a large storage tank so darkness and clouds aren't usually an issue. I also have a transformer rig to power the pump off the lines if need be. A petrol-powered pump would not be good here; it's too far to keep hauling in petrol (gasoline). I do have a gasoline powered generator, though, plus a couple hundred gallons of preserved gasoline.

The reason I went with solar is that the only utility available on my property is electricity, and it's a remote and old line. So, the power is not reliable, and goes out for up to days at a time. I also wanted the ability to go "off-grid" if need be. And, the other reason I went with a solar well pump? I won the pump in a card game, so I had it, so figured "why not"? LoL!

OK, It was #2 that was the lie. I Do not carry a .357 everywhere! I find the .357 a little bulky for a carry gun, and I've always preferred ACP's to wheel guns. So, I carry a 9mm ACP. not a .357.

#2--- I enjoy camping, and nature, and all that stuff.

From reading your blog, I know #2 is true.

#3 or #1? hmmm. I am guessing that #1 is the lie.

I'm going with #1 as the lie. Given how much he likes nature stuff, anything he drives will be covered by a thin (or thick) layer of dust/dirt and therefore would not qualify as "bright" :P

I would have said that number one was true, since youngsters don't typically have exciting cars. However, since 16 year olds can't have driver's licenses, I am calling number one the lie.

Unless Wisconsin is weird like that.

He never said he had a drivers license, just that he was driving. It could be he was driving as a learner.

16 Y/O's can have driver's licenses in the US. In many states the minimum age is 15, not 16. In some states it is 14.

I think it's time Kurt put us out of our misery....

While we're waiting, here's another one. The two truths have been confirmed elsewhere to make it easier for you:

1. One of my sons was once admitted to hospital with a life-threatening illness.

2. One of my sons is a confirmed chocoholic.

3. One of my sons is a soloist in the school choir.

Okay, for mine... #3 was the lie. I was not adopted. I do have a Bright Blue Ford Escort Station Wagon, I have had my license since August. :D

I am going to say, for Graeme, that #2 is a lie.

I agree with Kurt, but I predict that Graeme is being sneaky: I'll bet BOTH sons are dedicated Chocoholics.

So, two truths and a lie eh...

1. I have wrecked and totaled five vehicles.

2. Two of my brothers and sisters are adopted.

3. I was born in Italy

Krista

Wow. Lots of choice here with no clear lie.

I'm going for number one as the lie. I have trouble believing that you could've TOTALED five cars -- someone who'd removed the keys from your hand before you got to number five.

Hmm... haven't been here in a while!

1. I almost ran a red light tonight.

2. I was pulled over tonight.

3. I watched a mans head explode in the mouth of a giant crocodile tonight.

I'm going to say that number two is the lie and one and three are the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth :pickaxe: :pickaxe: :pickaxe:

Well I know I frequently almost run redlights, so, it's possible that you could've almost done that tonight. :P

Also, I hope you didn't see someone's head explode inside a crocodile's mouth, because something like that would just scar and haunt my thoughts for life.. lol. So that's the one I'm hoping is the lie. OH wait.. nevermind.. lol. That new movie "Primevil" or whatever could have that happening... not a movie I'll be seeing at all.

So I'm changing it to... Number 2..

Okay, three is an obvious one, but there is so much on TV that it's a possibility. Of course, it could be you've put up an obvious lie just to confuse us....

I'm guessing number one is the lie. There are a lot of reasons to be pulled over, so I find that one believeable.

Nick and Krista got it, Krista having hit the nail on the head.

1. I almost ran a red light... almost because the friend who was in the car with me kept on yakking, which make me think about what she was talking about (her pharmacy department at work... she thought I cared that someones meds were $6,500 for a months supply and wouldn't let me not respond), which took my mind off of what I was doing, until she says "Are you going to run that red light?" I slammed the brakes and got a nice foot message from ABS and stopped a full car length after the thick white line under the light. That was exhilirating haha.

2. I did not get pulled over, but with all of the cops patrolling my area last night you would think I did. Two cops had pulled two different cars over at two different points on the highway on the northbound side (I was going southbound), then when I left said friends house to go to WaWa, a cop had been pulling out of a side street, aiming his car to go in the other direction... then he changed his mind and followed me all the way to the stop sign. He almost went to follow me on the next road but he changed his mind at the last minute and turned in the other direction. Had his blinker on to follow me and everything... Passed two more cops going home from WaWa. WTH!

3. Krista's right, I saw Primeval last night. Crappy movie, but the gore is fantastic!
