Due to tendon issues with my left thumb, it's quite painful to hold a glass.. mugs are better. Michael bought some nice glass mugs because drinking water/iced tea from a regular mug isn't as nice. I've contemplated using our "good stuff". The problem is I have too much of it. Not only do I have the stuff we got for our wedding but I have my mom's 16 piece place settings and stuff that goes with it. I guess if I didn't want to load the dishwasher or hand wash dishes for a couple of weeks I'd have enough to do so but that would be mighty gross. 3 1 Link to comment

When I had a cat, I used to use the saucers for his canned food. That ended when I dropped a bag of milk on one of them and it broke. I make my mum's, which was her mum's, but there are no veggie layers—just the meat, cooked with grated carrot and onion and the mash on top. We only have one horse move, a mini going to the parade tomorrow, that my daughter is handling. I get all 3 days off! I cannot remember the last time I got 3 days off in a row! ( Does spending a month in a medically induced coma count as off? If not, then when the world shut down for covid in March of 2020 was as close as I have come to extended time off.) Daughter is now towing without one of us with her, but she says she wants to stick to the littles and easy horses for now. Joke is on her tho, the little she has towed to shows this year and is taking to the Parade tomorrow has given me more issues than most of the other regular customers!
