Watching this show called North Woods Law. It’s a show about Game Wardens in Maine. 

The episode I’m watching right now - I’ve been bingeing on it - has the wardens rescuing an injured hiker on the Appalachian Trail. At first, the way he is described has me thinking he’s an experienced hiker who just had a bit of bad luck. 

Scratch that, who in the heck wears crocs on a rugged hiking trail? An idiot, that’s who.  

At least, in the end, he recognized the foolishness of his footwear choice.

So far the day has been mixed. On the upside, I had a nice breakfast out with my husband and Mom, On the downside, I went to put my contacts in so I could take my son out to look for a mountain bike for his birthday (next weekend) and couldn't figure out why I couldn't see until I realized I put my husband's contacts in by mistake. Why does that seem ickier than sharing a toothbrush? 🤔 We didn't find a bike, but we did get some new fish for our tank. We were down to one lonely little dude swimming around, so now he has a few friends.🐟🐠🐡 Hope your day is good too!

Well try and write 250 to 500 words .. then if more comes, it does. But then you've done something. I can't write everyday.. and on those days, i dont worry about it.

I have ordered nothing from Amazon. Actually, we have spent very little. That and the fact i've worked a lot of Overtime means we are now debt free. I don't know about you, but the people's accounts i see through work, I wonder how the heck they spend so much since we are supposed to be locked down at home. They are making debit, in-store purchases .. tons of them. We pay for groceries once a week. That's it unless we visit the drug store too.

Congratulations on being debt free. It's a liberating feeling. I don't do much online shopping, usually when it's a gift, in this case, trying to find a bike for my son's birthday. I found one, but hated to have to pay for shipping because it wasn't Prime. My older son blackmailed me into paying half of his Prime subscription. He gets the student rate, so I really can't complain. Anyway, birthday shopping is done, so I guess I can't procrastinate any longer on the writing!

I’m sitting here having an iced coffee after washing the walls of the shed in the backyard.

Looking at it, it needs to be painted - which I have done before, but long, long ago - so now, Im thinking, should we keep it the same colour (kind of fire engine red/cinnamon combo like the shutters on the house) or should we try something different for a change? Need to ponder this...

Owen.. he is newish.  He came on the scene just before all of this ... we've stayed in touch. And we're all healthy and careful so we invited him over.
