Popular Post clochette Posted June 17, 2021 Popular Post Posted June 17, 2021 5am: Thunderstorms and heavy rain have woken us up in surprise. Neither were expected until late afternoon/evening. There were towels and sheets on the line... well they're being wash a second time by the rain. Now to try and get back to sleep... 2 4

Headstall Posted June 17, 2021 Posted June 17, 2021 Anyone have an opinion about mixing Pfizer and Moderna doses? There is a drive through clinic near me and I could get a second shot this afternoon if I accept the Moderna. I had Pfizer for my first shot. 4

The Ontario doctors who are on TV every day are saying it's fine to mix them, but they also say data is limited because no clinical studies for mixing doses have been completed yet. But, they say there is no reason to suspect issues. The official Canadian website says both things as well... get the same dose as the first(recommended) but if it's not readily available, it's okay to get the second from a different vaccine. The US FDA recommends getting the same vaccine for both shots. Hence, the confusion... the sooner I get the second dose the sooner I can hold my grandchildren. Three of my kids and kids-in-law who are eligible are getting the Moderna tonight, and the others are not sure yet. There are two more clinics over the next week. 1 3 1

Same thing here in france. Preferably get the same one but if it's not available there is not problem switching between Pfizer and Moderna as they use the same technology. But like Cassie said best asked your doctor what they think as they know your medical file. 2 4

The Moderna only had a 21 day wait between doses I believe and Pfizer was four weeks. 6

I know you're anxious to cuddle the young ones but be patient. You've done it for this long. 1 5
