I can give you pointers As far as what types of stories I like, I don't really have a preferred genre. Outside of GA, I tend to lead toward reading fantasy and scifi more than anything. But here I pretty much read anything that catches my interest. Like that list Randy has on his avatar Quote Adventure Drama Fantasy Historical Paranormal Romance Sci-Fi Thriller/Suspense I like all those things. As far as what I won't read? I think anything with abuse or sexual assault that is extremely descriptive and detailed tends to chase me away. However, that all depends on context as well. How the story treats those subjects and how the characters deal with them can actually have an impact on if I can keep reading or not. Does that make any sense? 3 3

I guess it'll have to go on Nifty. 3 1

It's weird, sometimes I'll read something rough and be okay with it, but then I try to read something else and I'm like "Nope, can't handle it". I think it might be the level of detail. I'm the same way. It depends on my mood, the level of detail in the story, and how the author treats it. 7

You just have to write it the right way. 8 hours ago, Randy Wade said: kid being abused by another kid though not actual rape but close to it. I've written a kid actually raping another kid... It's not on the list of banned topics. Sasha Distan wrote a story about a pair of brothers for an anthology just a few years ago. It's just a topic that needs to be handled with care, and carry the proper warnings. There's even an 'incest' tag under sex when you post stories. It is totally allowed on GA. ...that was a lot of replies. I missed out on all the fun going to bed at a decent time. Oh, well. Good morning, everyone! 6 1
