I agree with impunity, it's gonna be so funny to see them all trying to keep their interest hidden - but pretty hard for Ty, who will believe no one wants him. I think it's good that Tait can be removed and dispassionate about what Sean did to him. It will help him keep calm in court, if Sean's lawyers try to ratle him. At least he has the hospital records and his therapist as witness as to the damages done to him. I think the criminal case attorney is right, Tait should go for the money, as I bet that would hit Sean harder than anything else. Uhmm, one small detail: 250,000 dollars for one painting?? I could see that sum for all four, perhaps, but it's still a huge amount of money.

I'm still trying to work out how all this ties together, but I feel there are some imporant pieces of information missing. But perhaps with Merrick waking up, he and Jenson will be able to figure out the puzzle. I'm sure Merrick will refuse to go back to the ship, if he's able to function without too much effort and pain, and surely he'll be safe in their suite?

This chapter revealed how they had both collected the same cards: A puppy for the man they love, care for the mother of their unborn child, a need for expressing their feelings: romantic, sensual, horny or longing for togetherness. I loved that they had a quiet and hot Christmas time together before the madness of Nodie and family descends on them. Everything is coming together for a wonderful future for the best Cards on the Table of your story: Ace and Deuce.

Thank you for making this sweet couple real. I hope we'll hear more of them as the story progresses. And those Elders need to be taught a lesson.

Michael's easy acceptance was an important moment for all of them, and probably a relief for the adults. And you're right about the special gain for Patrick. He needs love in his life so badly. Peter has built most of his life around the boy and one of the reasons he dared to trust his feelings, risk his heart, and knew Patrick was the right one, was the way their budding relationshp happened around the boy, with him as a vital part, in focus as you say. I did not think of it this way before reading your review, and as always I love when my readers make me see my story with new eyes, make me understand it better. Patrick has had many years to think naughty thoughts and imagine stuff. Peter will indeed reap the benefits.

I think the imp was more than just speechless at Patrick suddenly yelling back at him. I can't say more on that right now. Hmm at least he's being nicer to Luke. Interesting to see how he respects and listens to a man with natural parental authority, and how the Coach explains why Jackson needs to shape up rather than try emotional blackmail or ordering him around. I don't think Allison is phony, she probaby does miss Jackson and she certainly likes him more than he likes her. Her instincts about Luke as a rival are spot on - not that she has any idea about either of them being gay, I mean a rival for his time, because time spent with Luke is time away from her and his other friends. Interesting to see Jackson's confidence about being able to hep Luke, but I bet he'll do it via his mum, telling her Luke want to go to his school and if they did, it would be easier to become friends. Not that he intends to, yet, but she would feel as if she's won a victory, silly woman,

I agree with my Swedish friend, but I have the nagging suspicion Casey may be accusing the Coach wrongly, even if the man is a creep and a jerk. This may come back to haunt him in relation to the real pervert he confronted. But I have to say I loved every single moment. This also applies to Casey's confrontations with his father who deserves every single accusation and rant thrown at him. I cannot help loving a guy who stands up for Lane and himself even if he's not always being clever about it. I'm always on the side of people wronged and unfairly treated.

I have to admit I only read the first part up to right after Hank's fantasy, and then I went straight to the end to see whether Danny got rescued. The few glimpses of text as I scrolled down were enough to make me shudder, even though I expected what would happen. Sorry, Val, but I simply couldn't bear to read the whole story. It was too compelling and scary.
