Winnie sees money for an open bar.. she did not deserve Jake.. still, she’s a likely suspect. How many people knew that door was always left open...if that’s the truth. Why the heater on a nice day.. Seems Nat has a handy excuse for turning the heater off and opening a window.. Nat recounting the day without emotion is less disturbing than her reaction to finding her friend dead. She had such detail too, about which department arrived first, how many police officers interviewed her (4). When/if you’re distraught over finding a dead body do you recall specifics or is your memory distorted to a certain degree? -
This chapter brought back the feels of election night... But.. How awesome for Brett and César, that CJ got to introduce them to.. “Please, it’s Bruce.” And the Presidents. Great stuff.. Looking forward to 2018...
