What a delightful ending.

Rufus/Marcus main character name keeps changing in recent chapters. Sean could not keep on with the relationship long distance, but the way he left, seemed like he wasn’t really invested. And the sex talk really didn’t help his case of being much more than a sperm donor.

This seems like a catharsis, they all needed.

So glad Rhaelce came back. Seems like he never really left, just followed them observing. It will take time for the trust to be rebuilt. Malick is still hurting, hopefully it won’t take long.

Taggert opened up a little about his past to Ash. Still baby steps. He also thinks he’s completely cut out of the family he grew up in. They are working for a great group here. No judgement at all.

Levi seems to be doing a great job of questioning what he was told versus his current reality. He is deeply loved by his father. And Matt is being very open to letting him ask anything without judgement. A very good basis for a healthy relationship.

Seems like with this control freak of a mother that she would know exactly where he had been all weekend. And might be an alibi. Or she can be responsible wanting him out of her life and this is the way she should get him out of it. Somehow, I don’t know.

Seems like some closure with Logan’s dead stepfather showing up at the house, and Nico helping him move on. -
They still haven’t told Jacob who it is. And where did Skailer go? interesting fighting just injuring the other side so they had to leave the fight. And who were the human robots sent by if neither side claims them?

What a great party. Sorry that Mannly doesn’t yet know how much he is loved and wanted on the ranch. Especially by Jake.

Excellent place for an ending to this book. Ephraim actually did something good before taking his own life. Funny how debts suddenly become settled when men fall out of windows.

Oliver was in time to save Timothy. It was interesting to learn that it was the direction of the sent that told him something was wrong. As far as the family is concerned, Oliver is just a good friend. The resistance to tasting was a steeled stance. Most likely because of their being around each other so much.

I wonder if Libbet knew what she was delivering in that box? She seems very politically astute. She was so oblivious to Atreus’ distress about Ser Thomas being among the visitors. This nun, seems more like a witch disguised as a nun. Will have to wait and see.

That flashback was pretty draining, finding out the source of the behavior is her father and the now head of the FBI. The intimacy of touching Sean and learning how he felt and still feels was hard as well. Seems like Sean is starting to believe him about his abilities. Will be interesting to have the sketch artist draw Emily, and what Alexis’s reaction to that will be. And if the father will be identified?

They are moving closer in their relationship. Evelyn trusts Austin. It’s going to be interesting when he awakens.

August was epic in this chapter, got approval from his father for exactly what he wanted. Turned his brother’s snooping into a perfect advantage for him and his soon to be partner. The news of a new wife that the father married in secret, seems to play into his distraction talking of whore houses…. I sincerely hope she is a shrew and a gold digger, taking everything and leaving Rob without anything. -
It seems like Levi really wants to mov now. He has last met all of their close friends, and is getting used to everyone being gay. And not sure if he picked up on it but they are all in committed relationships. That beach sound amazing every time it’s described.
