Brian and Lanny are back from their European adventure and settle into an apartment of their own. Marco leaves for his own adventure to exhibit his art in London and Paris, leaving Marty and the twins Samuel and Benjamin to fend for themselves.

I occasionally try my hand at writing haiku. I'm not claiming that any of it is really all that good. And some haiku purists might even claim that I don't always follow the rules of haiku correctly. Indeed some of my attempts could be more correctly classified as senryu, rather than haiku.

Be all that as it may, I shall add my individual attempts over the next while. Some have been written many years ago. Others will be more recent.

As the occasional offering may be somewhat dark in nature, I shall give the collection a rating of Mature. I will give individual chapter warnings where necessary

Simon - HIV-positive - tries to sort out his life. It will be a long journey until he realizes that there is more than self-pity and takes Ben's outstretched hand. Both are involved in the chase for an old masterpiece of Michael Pacher, the South-Tyrol woodcarver of the 15th century. This is a collection of my short fiction. It's mostly lightweight and meant to be amusing. Not the stuff of thought-provoking, great literature or college classes. And, often, guys misplace their clothes. This collection parallels that of my short non-fiction on this site -- Collections. Enjoy.
