Poem written for the 2024 Poetry Antho.

Boy meets boy, leaves boy, meets another boy. All the usual things happen to someone with a thankfully less-than-usual life.

Levi is looking for love. The problem is that he's looking everywhere and ignoring the person that has been by his side for years.

I'd heard of others coming unstuck with internet dating but I was too smart for that. Or so I thought.

Most conversations people have in a lift rarely range beyond a 'Hi - how are you?' That's probably how Leo prefers it. Then he encounters Andi.

This is an autobiographic story. It goes back to 2014 and is still in development. The main character, Clyde, meets an alternative boy and there builds more and more tension between them.

Some details are changed and the names of the characters have been made up.

Clyde is a transgender male (female to male). He had chest surgery and he got his ovaries and womb removed. He can't get pregnant. He hasn't had bottom surgery (yet). This means he has female genetalia. His clitoris has grown due to the use of testosteron. He looks masculine and by no means people would suspect that Clyde was physical female at birth.

Starting University brings greater academic challenges than Toby ever imagined. he is the blue-eyed twink who's looking for lurve. Living away from home for the first time he can finally be himself. Gay. As his coming of age begins to enfold will it be love at first sight or, is everything as it seems? In this graphic comic story, follow his every move as well as those of lovers, friends and enemies. In getting it together, Toby meets Reece. he is energetic, athletic and above all, so confident of himself. he's enough to bowl anyone over.

As I said somewhere else, I won’t manage to write a poem a day this April. The start was delayed, as I didn’t want to bore you with unimaginative rants giving righteous indignation and certain occurrences too many words and importance.

Celebrating a friend's outstanding headline spot swiftly followed by their victory is just the beginning. A special friendship develops between two people who should never have got close. An unexpected hook-up was never going to be a one-night-stand - that's not really Jenny's way - if it could be helped. Christmas in Berlin is magical and doesn't only bring gifts wrapped in pretty paper, some things are better left unwrapped. There's even the juxtaposition of one who does it for the money and another who does it for real.

Tiana is a warm hearted young woman with an always there smile and mother hen nature. Her friends are some of the most important people in her life so when Barbara goes missing her world collapses into chaos.

Barbie is one of Tiana's closest friends, a sister of sorts, so it comes as no surprise that Tia doesn't accept her police declared "death" without a fight.
Together with her gang of mixed personalities she sets out on a mission to solve the cold case and bring Barbie home, learning a few lessons on Leadership, friendship and strength along the way.
