There is so much love in those lines. The love you have for Michael and the unshakable love he has for you. He seems to be your anchor in rough seas, keeping you from being swept away.

He is my anchor... he kind of saved me and still is.

I don't understand poems normally but I still see how much Michael loves you ......the commitment you both have is really inspiring ......I thank Michael and here's a for him from me and another for you

After last night, these are more like it... so much feeling... so much emotion... so much clarity given to one who needs it... these, my friend, I could get used to. You have your rock, and you understand the gift of it... You may have trouble believing it, but I can see that you are his rock, the other half of his soul... you can write anything, Tim, and the beauty of it engages our hearts... Gary...

Aw Gary, ty. I was kinda surprised I wrote these... knowing what usually comes out of me. But someone gave me a bit of a fatherly slap last night as well as a bunch of people just holding my hand. And the doc forbidding anything else.. well it all helped.

Hey Isaac. Michael is what he is, what you see is what you get. He's a good guy. Brought up right and wanted to make his parents proud. He has. I'm lucky and I know it. Thanks for reading and for your comments.

What beautiful writing, Tim! The one titled 'Michael' was simply amazing. It made me cry. Tim, I have to tell you, you are so lucky to have someone like Michael who loves you so much. There are many people in this world who aren't as lucky.

Hi Lisa. Michael is amazing. He's been through a lot because of me and he's still solid and really my anchor in this world. I love him more than I can say. I know I'm very lucky to have him and his lovely family as well. I wish the same to everyone.

I won't add emoticons. That I don't need them to express how I feel about these poems shows how perfectly you draw out the beautiful and hopeful and the love in your words. Your simple, deft wordcraft makes fools of us who have to write prose.

Thank you Parker for your beautiful comments. About wordcraft, trust me you don't want to see the things left behind in my notebooks. I can't sit down to write them, they write me in a way. They come when it's time and only then...
