Well I finally got my hair done. I went from a long-haired blonde to a short-haired redhead. Cut off a good 4 or 5 inches in some places. Fun change. It might have made sense if this was first

That's the problem with new toys, you're never certain how they work until you push one of the buttons.   I intended to have this entry as my first, but I pushed the silly button and "Forlorn" jumped out of the gate and was halfway down the track before I noticed my mistake.   This is my fourth attempt at establishing a literary blog. tis the season...for cold and grumpy

It's 20 degrees right now, and I have the heat on but I'm still freezing because the top of the window in my bedroom is open about an inch. I close it, it slides right back down. Damn, It's Cold!

I kind of forgot what cold weather was like since I spent the last 10 years in Taiwan and Florida. I'm thinking I should probably invest in some gloves and a scarf. It's That Time

Cat Parole

I decided to board my cat during my Thank giving trip to Texas at the vet but I waited too late. My usual vet was full. I had to shop around to find him a space. He doesn't travel well and gets horrible gas when he's anxious.   I was down to the wire and desperate. I begged my usual Vet for a referral list. Tuesday I went down the list. Animal Medical Center? How Childish Can Things Get

Today, I got the strangest email from my boss, addressed to me and the Housekeeping and Laundry Supervisors. This email informed all six of us that we are not longer to sit with our staff at Break and Lunch times. When some of the staff found out about it, they all said that's ridicules. Devil Cats

My cats are absolutely incorrigible, and I'm about at my wits' end. Let's face it, I'm in a slump

Yep, that's what it is, a torturous, agonizing, completely agrivating slump. I hate bugs! Imagine you're innocently collecting quotes for an upcoming paper and out of your peripheral vision, you see something dark on the floor that wasn't there before. Then you look down and notice it's a huge ass spider, so big, it's gotta be a freaking mutation!   I'm wholly grossed out, but I grab a giant magazine and then slam it down on the mutated arachnid. A Fun Day

Hehe, it's going to be a fun day at work today. You see, I'm an Indianapolis Colts fan living in Eagle Country. So you can imagine how the talk was at lunch on Friday. I did say at one point, that in the last five or six meetings between the two teams, The Colts won each time.   Well, last night, the Colts beat the Eagles again.
