HARDCORE WEEKEND BRO REDUX       I'm suffocating.   Suffocating with a ton of shit to accomplish and do. I've been a bit lazy the past month, but I guess that is okay. Today I just finished two more applications to some schools back east, tomorrow (Tuesday) I need to head over to the JC I'm suffering at and send transcript requests.   A good chunk of me wants to go to this place in Boston, I think it will be cool. Interstate at Night

Wow. The last week has been a blur.   Last Saturday night I got a call from my Aunt. My uncle died. The funeral was Tuesday.   So soon after my Dad's death, it brought it all back. It's Monday...

Mid-Senior Year Reflections

So right now, I'm at this glass-half-full deal when it comes to school. I'm a history major. I'm taking two 300-level history classes. They're both going really good- I'm earning an A in one, and an A- in the other.   The problem is that my foreign language class, I'm pulling somewhere around a D, and in my geology class, I majorly bombed the second exam, which was worth 25 percent. Luckily, I did fine on the first exam, and the final is worth 50 percent, so I can probably do well.

So we had a big meeting today, with damn near all the professors and department chairs, the dean, everyone from our college. I was on the agenda to deliver this proposal on a new degree track. Confidence

So. I work in Retail Loss Prevention, it is an amazing job, and I love it. I have been doing for almost 5 months now.   My biggest issue is my confidence. When I get a shoplifter and I go out to detain them I still shake quite a bit (though a lot less than my first one). My voice also cracks, and you can tell that I am nervous. So there is a tauntaun sleeping bag over at ThinkGeek.   I dunno what to say... its eyes are embroidered open. it has a smile... In the movie they cut the things open to sleep inside of them.
