    Summer Resolutions, Anyone?

    This year I’m going to clear out the shed. I’ll try this long hike someone recommended. I won’t sleep in every day.  I’ll eat healthy, all these yummy vegetables and fruit that are available now. Rainy Tuesday Morning

I haven't been able to get any writing done over the past few days, because I've been working on a rush translation job for a company. It only pays US$130, but that'll at least pay for about two boxes to be shipped back home. Hey- Thanks for all the comments guys, I really appriciate it. Dolphins, Darfur and the world

Warning...rant ahead ...........     Ok, so I saw this story on AOL yesterday about 400 dolphins that had washed up on the beaches of Tanzania, and after I read it, I went to the AOL boards to read what some people were posting about it. Last Day of April

I posted Chapter 13 of SOOTB on Saturday morning. I'm still working (slowly) on Chapter 16, but I at least have the whole thing mapped out, as well as most of the rest of the chapters, unless something comes to me in the middle of the night and I decide to make some kind of major change. Locked in the Bathroom

I've had a teriffic last couple of days!   I have this friend/coworker, Josh (completely different guy than the I Really Think Her Fiance' is Gay Josh), who plays the guitar and sings. It's coming, I promise!

I'd rather be sleeping

I so did not feel like coming to work this morning. I haven't been sleeping well lately ... lots of weird dreams and stuff. Anyway, I've pretty much accomplished everything I set out to do this week. There's still one more box to ship, and I'll do that this afternoon when I get off work. I also got a haircut yesterday which was long overdue. Moving On

I would just like to say for the record that whatever happened in the last few days is over as far as I'm concerned. I deleted the blog entry that was related to it, and I've also dropped some dead weight that I had been toting around for a while now. It happened, and it was sad, but I'm ready to move on. The Spring Anthology

Hey everyone!   I read the Spring Anthology and all I can say is "WOW!" You can really see all the effort the authours put into making it a success! I don't think I could pick a favourite story if I had to! I just know that I feel much richer for having read them.   It even inspired me to give this whole "Day Of Silence" thing a whirl. I might have to quit my job

Well, I had it out with the old man tonight. He wants me to wuit my job because he says I'm too young to have a job and to be taking the kind of classes I'm in at school. I told him no way, but he pointed out to me that I was up last night past 3 in the morning finishing my hw. He's right about that part, but that doesn't always happen. Cubby died this morning.   First thing, I want to thank everyone for their kind and encouraging words about Cubby. One thing I know is that every moment of Cubby's life, someone cared about him. There are many cats--and people--about whom you cannot say that. His little body wasn't able to contain his spirit. I have to keep moving

Ok, so a lot has happened this weekend, and it hasn't been easy. But I know I have to keep moving, and I'm going to. Myr just posted the Anthology today, and I was proud to see my story there. Sumbloke is getting married! I am delighted for him. He is a sweet guy and deserves all the success and happiness that life offers. This was supposed to be a good day. It's a Saturday, I only had to work a few hours and I got to go to the movies with Taylor and 4 of our friends. It was just a guy thing.
