Easter is one of my favorite holidays.. It really welcomes Spring, I think... and coloring easter eggs beats wrapping presents, carving pumpkins, cooking turkey.. etc any day of the week.

It's all about reincarnation and rebirth after death... hence the eggs which are an ancient symbol of new life and rebirth. The rabbit, or hare is a symbol of regeneration and new life.
