Have a few more test to run next week but so far things are looking good.

Hey All,

I've been around but with the insomnia and kidney pain I've been on here at weird times.

I'm doing ok, thanks to painkillers.

Hope everyone is keeping well, especially are friends in Canada with those extreme temperatures.

I think many struggle with this, molly. You are a person who always does her best but be careful of forgetting you can say no.  Don't overextend yourself. And buy yourself a bunch of flowers.  They are good for the soul.

I also struggle every single day with this. Even with all of the changes I've been working on externally, there are still plenty of times I look in the mirror and see someone who I don't think is worthy of being happy. 

We're all works in progress. Getting there is a personal journey.

saying NO is very hard for me, i don't want to let anyone down

and i do need to work at not letting outside myself dictate or even effect my happiness. a great deal of my discomfort last week was due to this i think

It's Canada Day ... someone decided to play the full version of the National Anthem at 7am... so EVERYONE COULD HEAR ALL 200 VERSES.... okay there are only 4 .. but it's long and in both languages..

I’m just enjoying the wonderful weather right now as it’s supposed to turn to T-storms this afternoon. 

Anyway, at least you don’t have to deal with customer issues today, so that’s something. You and Mike can spend a day where it’s just about the two of you.

Yesterday I got the total bill for Little Ones surgery and subsequent overnight stay in hospital back in spring.  Wanna guess? 

 

It's $17,691.47

Ha.  

 

Anyway now I wait to see what insurance will cover as we had some hiccup with insurance (he has 2, mine and his other mom's) so no idea what my out of pocket will be for that bill yet.

i cannot even imagine that.  Last time i had surgery, i had get some compression stockings, which we actually had to pay for .. like $25 or something. 

i hope your insurance will cover most of it...

I'm not surprised. Our "health care system" is so broken.
