This motivational thingy is well, kind of how i feel today. Sometimes the effort is enough. So, get out there and at least try! Have a good one. 5

Have a good one. Hope you feel better tim. Take it easy today I had a sleepless night... so what did I do? Browsed Amazon for stuff for the new place. I am in denial that I had to order a raised seat for the toilet. Too many years living with comfort height ones has spoiled me and my knees. Have a good day y'all! #ricekrispiekneessuck 3 1

Popular Post Kitt Posted April 5 Popular Post Posted April 5 Barn Drama update Last night a horse was mildly colicky. I was asked to come down in anticipation of a trip to the clinic. We sat with the horse till after midnight. Horse is fine today, but karma has taken aim at the haters. As we sat around for 3 hours watching this horse, the owner warned me the haters were talking about me again. She heard one of the haters say, and this is a direct quote, "I would rather my horse die than let Kitt touch him". Befor leaving @ midnight I walked both barns. Just the right thing to do since I was there. All the horses were good and all water buckets were full. Normal night check. I get back to the barn 6 am and the haters horse was found dead in his stall 8

Popular Post Kitt Posted April 5 Popular Post Posted April 5 That will depend on the owner. With no signs of illness in the last 24 hrs, the only answers would require a necropsy. That is expensive, but she might spring for it. She has money. Nothing is required as it would be in a same case with humans. 6

Time for the owner to politely ask them to find a new barn. The lost income can be recouped... a damaged reputation is harder to fix. 1 7

Between you and Dan, hopefully he'll be headache free soon. he's been for tests as this isn't new, but nothing was found. They say it sounds like a migraine but they don't think it is. They also think it may be stress headaches, but waking up with them is odd. We tried different pillows, more fluids (we'll look at this again) maybe more exercise for better sleep. Perhaps some night time meditation. If nothing works, we'll return to the doctor. 1 4 1

I've been through this often with my husband's lungs. He gets recurring infections but whenever they test him everything is "normal". Needing prednisone 4-5 times a year is not normal. Same thing with the weird, random neurological stuff that goes on with him. Numbness in extremities? Can't find any cause. Tremors? Nope, everything is fine. Burning sensation on his scalp? Nothing on the MRI. He's stopped going for tests. It's frustrating. I hope tim feels better soon. 2 1 4

The fact of it is, there isn't always an obvious or easy answer. I'm loathe to ask for additional medications, he takes enough daily as it is. Often the over-the-counter painkillers will work for him. It sounds the same for your husband. The symptoms just don't fit no matter the tests they run. 4 1

chris191070 Posted April 6 Posted April 6 I hate Insurance companies. Quick enough to take your money, but when you make a claim. They seem to make everything difficult to help/finalise a claim, when you want money from them. 3 2
