I feel I have to let you know that tim is on a break for an undetermined time.  A number of issues have led to this.  Right now, he is only signing on to check email.

he is fine, but there are choices he has to make about what he wants to do.

If you reach out to him via email, I'm afraid I cannot guarantee when he might reply.

What is best for tim is the important thing.
Sending good thoughts his way…

Warning: Rant imminent!

1) Ignoring my texts and phone calls will not make the reason I am reaching out go away.

2) that double yellow line defines my side of the road from your side.

3) crawling up on my bumper will NOT make me exceed the speed limit. Don't like being behind me and traveling the limit? Feel free to pass as soon as it is legal and safe.

4) Those funny shaped red signs that say "STOP" are not merely a suggestion, nor are those hanging lights that alternate between red and green.

5) Potato salad CAN be made in less than 5 lb batches. Same applies to pasta salad, you don't need to cook the whole pound box.

Rant over. We now return to sending love to tim.

Who is making 5 pounds of pasta salad? Like. Aside from the family reunion why would you need so much lol.

Maybe I am biased because I don't really care for pasta salad.

Tried something new today. When making the fruit for an apple cobbler, I used dark brown sugar instead of white. Can we say caramel apple cobbler???

I always use demerara sugar when making Apple crumble.

I also use demerara sugar when I make flapjacks.

Perhaps caramelised apple cobbler? But I don’t know what a cobbler is, apart from a shoe repairer…… But anything with sugar and apples has to be good!
BTW can anyone remind me of the author of the stories based on an apple farm.  They were v good.

Are you thinking of @Jdonley75 ?  He wrote excellent stories full of drama of life on an apple farm. Highly recommend his stories!

Thank you!  Yes, they are excellent.  The poor son cutting his nose off to spite his face for so long.   I must revisit.  The writing is first rate.

regards and thanks @Flip-Flop

It's a quick and easy American fruit dessert. Imagine warm sweetened fruit enveloped in soft dough that's a cross between cake and scones. You melt butter in a baking dish and prepare the batter which consists of self-rising flour, milk, and sugar. Spoon the fruit into the melted butter and pour the batter over and bake.
