i would share with you my friend!!  i was drinking some nice bubbly wine made here in Ontario .. notes of strawberry and blood orange. i rarely drink because it's not a good thing for depression but i only had a little .. there is more in the fridge to finish later!!  Pelee Island is a cool place. The southern most inhabited place in Canada. They are really into looking after their environment and the Island. You can read more here: https://www.peleeisland.com/about-us/

Worth buying their stuff because it's good and they are environmentally responsible.

Thought of you this morning. The radio station I listen to was discussing the increase in nightly fireworks. General consensus was that, yes it's a lot more than usual. One thought was that people couldn't get fireworks during lockdown and now that they can they're making up for lost time and trying to cure their cabin fever.

that is so true. so look out this up coming week it should be loud.

A good night's sleep is important. Glad you'll be comfortable.

Hey, Mac. Good to see you. Yeah, since Paul got laid off cause of Covid and no longer works nights, we've had to sleep together in a bed that's way too small for two (especially for two not especially small people) every night. We didn't really notice how tight a squeeze it was when we weren't sharing it all the time. This one's almost half a metre wider. Luxury. Lol! We both expect to sleep like babies tonight.

Went for a walk earlier and decided to stop in the hardware store to look for gardening supplies. Picked up some gloves, and a handheld weeder. Oh, and I got a nice long-handled scrub brush for cleaning the patio, and a really nice laundry basket - and yes, I carried it all home, though it wasn’t that hard seeing as the laundry basket had really sturdy side handles. It was easy to carry it and the broom with one hand.

What I did notice right away before entering the store was a sign taped to the door that said - in very polite terms, mind you - to shop if you have a purpose - ie something you need - or if you’re just there to browse: take a hike.

They have red arrows on the floor to keep people from crossing paths. Have to say, I really had to pay attention, because the rows alternated allowing you to go only a certain way, which meant walking away from where you actually want to go - this gives “take the long road” a whole new meaning.

I just wonder if they were able to lay those arrows down correctly on the first try?  🤔

Nice!!  Today our mall was open.. not all stores were but lots were. Some of the tiny ones you had to order from the outside and they'd get it for you.  Honestly.. our grocery store has arrows on the floors and big signs  with big arrows.. people just dont get it.  After last week and going up and down and around to get in the aisle we wanted we just walked up and down every aisle.   i bet the stores are loving that.. you're more likely to buy more that way...

Thats why grocery stores reset and move entire sections around here. The morebtime you have to look for what you want the more you are likely to impulse buy.

Most of the stores down here have had arrows for a while. The only problem is that people ignore them. I've found myself doubling back more than once because I  forgot something in aisle 2 and I'm all the way in aisle 12. Of course I end up going the wrong way, then get confused as to which way I need to go to get back to where I was. At least I wear a mask, unlike half the other people.

Florida has just banned alcohol from being served in bars. They won't make masks mandatory, but instead choose to ban alcohol. Why they reopened bars in the first place is beyond me. What did they expect? Floridiots. 🤦‍♀️

Tonight is my night for a couple of glasses of wine. Hello white zinfandel, my friend!🍷
