I think I have created SEVERAL monsters!

G'day y'all. Another day of record setting heat. Thankfully we're headed north later today. Thistle and I took another brief walk this morning, way too hot to go far. He will be going to doggie camp one last time this morning. Mum and I will pack while he's gone. Less stressful for all involved if he's not constantly underfoot. We'll get under way by early afternoon and travel halfway. It's a 5 hour drive and will see us to just shy of the NC/VA border. It's an area we're familiar with as it's where we usually stop coming and going. We'll grab a bite to eat and have a restful night then start fresh in the morning. If all goes to plan we'll be back home in PA sometime tomorrow afternoon.

Were it not for the fact that, on a more careful second look, I can see a belt holding up his trousers, he really looks to me as though he's a merman just climbing out of the water. The interplay of the large water drops and finer sprays of water make his trousers look like they are actually scales.
