Site Administrator Popular Post Valkyrie Posted May 10, 2021 Site Administrator Popular Post Posted May 10, 2021 I had a nice day yesterday with my mom. This is the first time in years that she's actually wanted to do something on Mother's Day. I went over to her house and I cooked dinner. We had pork chops, and she had rice, while I had Brussels sprouts. We watched The Wizard of Oz and talked to my brother on the phone. Today, I have to run some errands and I also have a doctor appointment. Fun times. 4 2
Bucket1 Posted May 10, 2021 Posted May 10, 2021 Errands are usually so boring. Why can’t they be fun? 5
Popular Post clochette Posted May 10, 2021 Popular Post Posted May 10, 2021 (edited) I can't wait for exams to be over so I can focus on a new exciting project. My aunt did a professional training in massages, especially Indian style of the neck/shoulders/face/scalp. Her final goal is to resign from her office job for that new chapter in her life. She says it's already doing pretty well, word of mouth spreading fast with people talking about making it a regular thing (her last 3 Saturday were booked solid and she made a buy 10 get 1 free cards). So anyway we were talking about my new passion/obsession for soaps making and she said she'd be very interested on working on making a Christmas collection to offer to her clients at the end of the year and make a sort of package for those buying gift card for a massage so they'd get a little something instead of just a piece of paper Maybe I'll become a business woman Edited May 10, 2021 by clochette 6

The end result was very good but seemed more like scones than flaky biscuits. We made a mid-afternoon coffee run to Starbuck's. Dinner was shrimp burgers. The recipe makes enough to have temp twice hence tonight's Shrimp Day celebration. 6

dughlas Posted May 11, 2021 Posted May 11, 2021 (edited) G'day y'all. Day is dawning warm and bright but chill wet weather is in the forecast. We need rain almost as badly as Albert. Edited May 11, 2021 by dughlas 1 3

Of course, that may have something to do with me constantly listening to Jefferson Airplane's White Rabbit, and originally thinking the closing words were "keep your head" (although it's really "feed your head"). 2 1
