A bit less hotter than the last couple of days with 25-27°C and a little breeze from time to time making it very enjoyable. I went shopping this afternoon. I had wants of cute sandals, jeans shorts (can you believe I didn't have jeans shorts?! Only the hiking type) and airy flowery little dresses. I've bought White leather sandals, 2 jeans shorts and a beautiful dress though I'm not sure I'll keep it as I'd need to move down the cleavage a bit to make it more comfortable and there are some frilly things on the shoulders coming down on the breasts making mine looking bigger which they absolutely don't need. I've also bought a cute t-shirt saying "my family doesn't know it yet but I'm a genius" (it'd be great for @Drew Espinosa ) and blue shorts with suspenders with my little nephew. He's only 9 months old but wears 18-24 months old clothes! Edited June 12, 2021 by clochette 6

This was a big one for me, as I turned the big 5-0 shortly after 11:00 am today. I made a nice breakfast of bacon and eggs with cauli/broccoli hash browns. I spent the morning relaxing. My BFF sent me a nice prezzie so I opened that. I chatted with a bunch of my friends online, then talked to Cole for a while on the phone. I skipped lunch, knowing I'd be having a large dinner. I spent the afternoon at my mom's with my family. It was the first family gathering we've had since lockdown started a year and a half ago, so it was great to see everyone. They all brought me gifts, even though I told them not to We had chips and salsa and cheese and pepperoni for snacks, then for dinner we had pulled pork with homemade bbq sauce, a variety of roasted veggies (cauli, broccoli, brussels, and acorn squash), spinach salad, and for dessert I had a low carb vanilla cake with chocolate buttercream frosting, and everyone else had brownies and ice cream. We sat on the porch and chatted and had a great time. Overall, I would say it was the perfect introduction to the second half of my life 💖 9
