Took mum to see her GP this morning for her 6-month checkup. She's in very good health though it seems she's got a bit of a uti. Waiting on sensitivity testing results to know which antibiotic is needed.

Next week it's a visit with the cardiologist for an annual stress test and 6-month checkup.

Well I done with my treatment for the day it took 50 min's. I coughed and feaked out the machine just stop and waited to be reset thank god :yes:

I'm not 100% sure where it comes from, but think I may have come across it in the book "Small Is Beautiful: A Study of Economics As If People Mattered" - a collection of essays published in 1973 by German-born British economist E. F. Schumacher.

One of my younger sisters is called Margaret (usually we just call her Maggie), and she's a huge fan of Rod Stewart. At family get-togethers that song nearly always gets played, and we all join and sing along. She just loves it when we do that. :)

Hey, all. I'm tired from doing a lot of tree trimming and weeding today. I was on a ladder for much of the day but I was careful... even tied it at one point. :)  Sweet dreams... I think I'm too tired to write, but I might still try....

G'day y'all. The second of the main rain bands from TS Elsa is passing over. We were roused just before 5:30am when the first heavy rain band arrived by a National Weather Service text blast that we were under a tornado warning until 6am. Fortunately nothing came of that other than getting us all out of bed. Normally the pup and I get up at 4:30 but today we were having a bit of a lie in since it was raining heavily. Mum however, doesn't normally get up until 6:30 so she's had an early start. The worst of the storm should have passed by in the next hour with just remnant showers before clearing later.

A second tornado warning was posted about 10 minutes ago at 7:55am. Based on radar it seems the threat has passed us by and the rain is visibly greatly diminished though it's still blustery. Sky is brightening.
