Yes, when I open up the Last Post Wins rulebook and search out birthdays, I see this:

12. Special occasion on LPW

(a) Birthday celebrations shall entitle the birthday person to retain the shiny without challenge on the day of their birthday

(i) Said retention of the Shiny ends at 12:00 AM EDT  (-4 GMT) the next day and can be contested for again.

 

See, right out of the rulebook

Btw, there is 47 rules with multiple sub rules and multiple sub, sub rules. It is actually quiet a large tome that @TalonRider wrote back at the turn of the century.

I don't know whether to laugh or scream at the wildone. I never had a hand, or talon in writing the so called rules. I only know of one rule, Last post wins. 

We celebrated Birthdays when they were publicly known.

It's time to Love Your Red Hair today. @wildone can go Outside To Play with the Bison today while the rest of us enjoy snacking on Donuts.

Since I’m a professional Bison trainer and whisperer, they have told me of @Valkyrie’s attempt to recruit them into her legions of doom. The picture of the bison chasing the girls is actually of when Val paid those young girls to recruit them. Like any bison, as soon as they heard Val’s name, they chased them off.
