It's currently 61/16° and sunny here. Seems we're beyond the earlier unseasonably cold weather and entering a stretch of unseasonably warm weather.

Yup! All of the prezzies have been wrapped, and I've made all of the cookies that I wanted. 

Max also has a present ready for his boyfriend, which we dropped off at Michael's house earlier today. It'll be waiting under his family's tree for unwrapping on Christmas Day.

Mum's energy level has improved but the vertigo is still an issue. I suspect some of it has to with orthostatic bp issues and some is hereditary. As for me, well, the migraines continue. Some days worse than others but I at least remain functional enough to care for Mum though some of the cookies we'd hoped to bake didn't get done. We do have some we can share with friends and neighbors and I was able to make peanut brittle and fudge to share as well. Not bad, just not as exhuberantly festive as hoped.

Baked Brie is definitely off the menu - it’s going to be 40C at my sister’s place 

Boxing Day will be 10 degrees cooler so that’s a bit of good news. I think my firefighter nephew will be kept quite busy
