Popular Post clochette Posted February 28 Popular Post Posted February 28 Ugh I went to the school to print some material for the upcoming weeks so has to not be stuck in the Monday morning rush hour at the printer. Out of curiosity I went to take a look at my classroom has some work was supposed to be done on the lighting system. Good news is the work has been done. I now have automatic lightning, it's adapting to the daylight. Bad news my classroom was a mess... I spent over 2 hours putting my students tables and furnitures where they were in the room. There's dust everywhere and I even found a dozen screws on the floor... I'll need to arrive earlier on Monday to finish before the kids arrived. Joy... 6

The cleaning lady will come but not sure if she'll have enough time... And yup the workers could have been more clever and pick up their junk knowing there'll be kids around... 4

Shaking my head as I read the weather forecast for the week - it might be chilly this morning but the temperatures move closer to toasty throughout the week with a max of 39C on Friday. 5

Popular Post dughlas Posted March 1 Popular Post Posted March 1 My step-brother died yesterday morning. He and Carol were on their way for their annual early spring week at the Outer Banks. They stopped at a local WaWa to get drinks and as he was walking across the parking he fell over. He'd had a massive heart attack. Mum is having a difficult time. She and Bill really cared for one another. She asked me a few times during the afternoon if it was true he'd died. When I said yes she said she was afraid she'd remembered that correctly. The one comfort we draw on is that they were parked in a parking lot not driving on the road where Carol and potentially others could have been seriously injured too. We're a bit shell shocked this is four deaths in the last two months. Blessed be y'all. 8
