Language is a magical thing It’s the title of the drama, it’s hard to explain in detail but essentially there’s a competition to inherit a restaurant that specifically serves dishes that don’t have long beans in them. Headstall Posted Wednesday at 03:29 PM Posted Wednesday at 03:29 PM Happy happy happy! Maple Leafs won the NHL lottery draft with only an 8% projected chance. It's damn near miraculous. We pick first. Hello, peasants and goofballs. 5

B-man I think you’re putting more thought into this than Gary did. As I’ve heard in every Asian drama I’ve watched, ever, “Don’t think too much.” 5

I'll never understand why people think you can "inherit" a business in the way that you can inherit a house. In BL dramas and Hallmark movies, all you need is the "deed" to the property, the keys to the door, and a winning smile. And Auntie Selma's "world-famous" cookie recipe. In reality, you'd need so much more than that. The business would have to be registered under the name of the new owner. There'd be inspections for health, safety, and building codes. And that's just for starters. 5

Well in this case whoever joined the competition had to have enough money to buy the restaurant, so I guess “inherit” is the wrong term. Mostly, the owner was trying to get money to pay for his mentor’s medical bills. Besides being really, really good chefs they couldn’t have any affiliation with a particular developer. It was still an active, running restaurant, so all those codes, etc. would be taken care of off screen. 2 2

I pray for you both. Give her my love, brother. The most notable aspect is her short term memory. She repeats herself often, forgets/or doesn't know what day it is, often forgets what it is she's to be doing, i.e. bathing or dressing, taking her medication. She's no longer able to be responsible for herself or her affairs though if prompted expresses valid thoughts or opinions concerning them. She sleeps more. She still remembers people and usually places. It's a struggle to get her to eat and drink enough. I worry because her mother, my grandmother, eventually became nonverbal and unresponsive to most external stimulus. She just sat lost inside herself for the last few years of her life. It was as if she died before she died. I don't want that for Mum. 2 5
