One summer well before the Bolshevik revolution, when Russia was a noble country, young Alexei, as was the custom of the time, left the city with his family, for the countryside.

It was a time of discovery, excitement, longing, and also sadness. A time in which he made new acquaintances and fought battles with himself, as the child he still was struggled free from many constraints into a world of dangerous possibilities.

This is a collection of short stories about supporting characters and antagonists from my novel Nemesis. It's probably not necessary to read Nemesis to enjoy these, but if you intend to read Nemesis you should probably do so first, as this contains spoilers.

All through their lives Mike and Robbie have been there for one another, and now that they're maturing, the teens are falling for one another, but are afraid to change or lose their friendship.

In the sequel to 318 Winesap Lane, Troy runs away from a juvenile mental health facility and nearly loses his life. He is rescued by a man who will significantly impact his future in New York City, but life in the big city is not easy. Meanwhile, Erik lives in an Upper East Side apartment overlooking Central Park, which to him makes little sense since he’s blind. Unlikely as it may seem, the boys are reunited and their renewed friendship blossoms into love. Unfortunately, life isn’t easy in the city and the boys encounter many speedbumps in their journey to adulthood.

Lem and Mattie have been best friends, and neighbors, since they were little. Both raised on Montana ranches, they grew up in a world of 4H and Rodeo, but Lem finds himself insatiably attracted to Jeff, an older boy that just moved in.

Lem soon after discovers that he is also the object of his best friend's desires. It's a truth that blows up in both Mattie and Lem's faces, as Mattie finds himself seriously depressed, and Lem finds himself lost without his best friend.

And not only gorgeous, but openly gay as well. So it's just a matter of Trey trying to push his way past his fear to maybe make a play for the prettiest boy in school. Easier said than done! Let's see if trey has what it takes to chase what he desires most, and capture the attention of the dreamiest boy that he's ever encountered before!
