Damon's grandfather had always told him the Abercrombie powers could only be passed on by blood. He was wrong. For the past nine years, Damon and Kai have watched over and trained their adopted sons Benji and Alex to use the powers they mysteriously inherited. Now, as the boys have turned sixteen, they learn about the mysterious 'Prophecy of the Chosen' and they learn they are not the only family to be blessed with powers.

This is the sequel to the much loved (or much hated) story of For the Heart of Phillip. This tells what happened to the two men left in the wake of the last tale.
