Prologue.

When I was in college, I had a friend that worked the summers at various resorts. In the fall when school would resume, he’d hold court at lunch and tell us tales of his summer experience, showing us his trinkets, that’s what he called them. Based on those tales, I wrote the following story, Home Away From Home.

Be warned, the story involves explicit sex between gay couples. If you have read any my other stories, this will be quite different.

Born in the small town of Maydena in Tasmania, Australia, from the age of just two years, my home is over 6,000 kilometres away where I have grown up, in the Buddhist Kingdom of Bhutan. My full name, is Dechen Christopher Yeshe Hamilton. We have our main home in the capital of Thimbu, where we live for seven months from in the late autumn, winter and early spring, and for the rest of the time, for five months, we live in the northern Himalayan mountains, where my parents work to provide medical care and assist with education of the children in the remote of villages of Bhutan.

They fight against beings from another world called the Colossus and protect humanity against their destructive nature. Between rising to the legacy of his deceased brother to falling for a brooding man from a rival political family, Ryan begins to discover who he is and what the world truly needs...a Champion.

It’s been eight months since the last battle that decided Earth’s fate. Like a tide, trouble has risen up once again. The enemy is old and new at the same time. They’re after something. Something that could spell the end for not only the world but the entire universe.
