Two worlds divided by a thin line, joined together due to a peculiar anomaly. Two lovers met one fateful night. Their love gave rise to a child that would be heir to both.

Here I shall post my short stories (1,000 words up to around 10,000) and my flash stories (under 1,000 words).

Make of them what you will.

The location? A science fiction convention outside of Baltimore, circa 1980. Our little group attended all the local conventions and there were a lot of really fun times. Some people would say unusual times, I'd go with different since it wasn't at all unusual to us. Come along and get into my head as I recount some of our adventures at this fateful Balticon.

This story, a short three-part adventure, is different from my others, hopefully to demonstrate my versatility.

Talent Morrow, a 28-year-old guy with a big heart, drives a hearse for a living. One day he absconds with the hearse and its deceased occupant and he, his boyfriend Josiah Dixon and said deceased occupant take off on a zany spree that takes them to Las Vegas.

Young Danny has suddenly found himself having strange and powerful feelings for another boy for the very first time. He's never experienced any homoerotic feelings before...but one day, out of the blue...it was like he couldn't live without him. Almost as if a 'spell' had been cast upon him. So the real question is...why is he feeling this way? What does he plan to do about it? And...

...Just how deep do those feelings go?

Immanuel Kant immediately fascinated me, yet this story is not about him, but about how he changed my life.

Actually, it wasn't exactly Kant who changed it, but it was my grandmother's grandmother, who had probably been a witch.

After the death of his mother, professional dancer and choreographer Louis loses his job and falls into a deep depression. When his partner, Hunter, proposes a change in scenery to help Louis heal from the loss, he reluctantly agrees to move to Hartford, Connecticut.

But soon after the move a serial killer dubbed “The Hartford Menace” starts targeting men throughout the city. Numb from his grief, Louis doesn’t pay the news too much attention. That is, until his sister Francesca points out a terrifying fact: all the victims bear an uncanny resemblance to him.

Sean is a troubled young man. Some of the things he does might be considered to be not all that well thought out. At times all his family and friends, particularly his older friend, Johnny (the narrator of these fragments of Sean's life), can do is to be there for him, and help him to pick up the pieces when things go wrong. Even when, sometimes, Sean himself doesn't even seem to want to pick up the pieces.

Gareth wakes up in hospital after being in coma for several days. As we go along he remembers having an accident. Other information about his life seem to be gone or inaccessible due to retrograde amnesia. When his socioenvironment helps him put the pieces together, he realizes something odd.

Tucked away in the southeast corner of Tennessee is a small town called Minor Springs.

Tristan is a bullied teen who spends his days (and nights) plotting his escape.

Finn has it all - popularity, money and the perfect girlfriend - but feels the town is closing in around him.

As Minor Springs threatens to destroy them both, they will find refuge in an abandoned clubhouse in the woods separating their two worlds.
