Fantasy places contain beings who feel, love, hurt, and dream. These expressions have as many different perspectives as there are in this world. Gaia-Town is a collaborative project that seeks to give you characters and stories that entertain and challenge you. Not everyone in Gaia-Town is honest or true and sometimes that makes for surprising situations. What it hopes to do is question our perceptions of that world, and therefore ours as well.

Things that go bump in the night, voices that scream in the dark, sounds when no one is there or the silent figure when there should be no one there.

Horror and ghost stories have always held a fascination for the LGBT reader, just look at the popularity of American Horror Story and the writing of Clive Barker and Anne Rice. In horror/ghost stories so many LGBT themes can be explored, they are far more than screaming women and camp villains, well the good ones are.

This collection will feature some of my LGBT horror and ghost stories. So, sit back and make sure all the lights are still on…

After years of self-deception, Dan had finally seen the proverbial light, thanks to some caring friends. Scott was a game-player, brazenly wreaking havoc with Dan's heart, and he had let him. Christmas be damned, it was time to reclaim his dignity, and accept that he deserved better... much better.

Peter's adoption is nearing completion, and he and Benji are officially going to become real brothers, but not without a rough spot on the way.

A quick snapshot into the goings-on of a Special Operations Unit Squad, and the introduction of their newest member, who's not really as qualified as he should be.

Boccaccio's Decameron, a story of renewal and recreation in defiance of a decimating pandemic, relates how ten self-isolated Italians pass the time regaling each other with tall tales during the Black Plague. While Covid19 wasn't nearly as decimating, the opportunity for such entertainment did exist. As a takeoff on that idea, this short story might well be a modern version of one of the tales, recounting events of earlier, less stressful times.
