Frankenstein's creator runs in to some unexpected awkwardness on his way to creating his ultimate masterpiece.

A response to Prompt #68:

Imagine where your character leads a pretty decent single life. Then there is a phone call and that life is turned upside down as they find out, they have just become a parent—to a teenager. Is this a cousin that has been left with no other family members? A god child? A niece or nephew? What is this first meeting between them going to be like?

The circumstances whereby Manny obtains guardianship are a little strange, to say the least. Not to mention what happens afterward.

Woody has just started collage as a botany major where he's glad to be out from under his parents' domain. Now free to explore his sexuality, he's been dating Sam for the last couple weeks, although he's wondering about his shy roommate's interest as well. He's suppose to be going out with Sam on Halloween night, but his roommate doesn't want him to go. He's caught in between.

"I didn't want to be his best man; I wanted to be his man. I didn't want to be his best friend; I wanted to be his boyfriend."

'I collect pretty boys. Whenever I see one—slight and effeminate, with long lashes and rosy lips—I want to own him. I want to make him want me. Adore me. Love me.'

A rather odd young man's life, summed up in less than 2000 words.

Can leopards change their spots. Does he deserve a second chance?

Love returned. Love rejected. Ecstasy and obsession.
