This work is Book 2 of The Life Series. It takes place a few years after the events in Book 1 - After Life. Many of the characters introduced there will reappear in this story, along with some new characters. This work is dedicated to all of those who simply had to deal with growing up, taking on responsibility, learning your opportunities for growth, and learning your strengths.

This is a 1-shot spinoff from "The Year I Stopped Being Invisible." It doesn't really fit in the continuity, so just think of it as a "deleted scene" with Rick and Taine. It might give more insight into the "real" Rick and Taine than the main story, but isn't part of the storyline.

Conversations are short vignettes in sets of three that check in on members of the Sanitaria Springs universe. They frequently happen between other stories and may reference events that occur in other stories.

Teddy Chen, a young man who talks to insects after a mysterious accident, returns to school and tries to resurrect his dead ex-lover.

He is aided along the way by the ghost of Steve McQueen, inhabiting the body of a mantis.

Bizarre? Well, stranger things have happened.

Maximillian Lucente is the teenage leader of the Consortium, the only surviving connection of the human race to the Races of the Myths, the denizens of Otherworld hidden from the eyes of Ourworlders. Life is full of twists and turns, both expected and unexpected, wondrous and excruciating. This year’s poems for National Poetry Writing Month will embrace the curveballs life throws at us and also serve as an exploration and raw portrayal of the grieving process.
