Definitely Not a Gardener

So, I mentioned a little while ago about learning that there is a right way and a wrong way to water a garden. Wellllllll, I'm still confused evidently or just plain stupid. Health Update #2 & Story News!

So, I just realized I never updated my blog after receiving the results of my a1c test. The results from that pretty much came back like we had thought and showed me as being pre-diabetic (type 2). I've tried to be a good girl and lay off a lot of the sugars, but that is easier said than done.   Now, to add another level to my health issues. Volunteer Work- Day 10

Today I came close to finishing the inventory on my final box before going into full-on processing.   This box was one of the easier ones, as it mainly consisted of dated photo albums- so far ranging from 2009 down to 1979. One really cool photo I found was a 1981 photograph of then-Senator Joe Biden. So, just an update for those who want to know. For those that don't, I have the added pleasure that you rolled your eyes when you saw this   So Health..... Is fairly good. Comparatively. My dog was euthanized today

He was my best friend for 12 years. Just Another Friday

Been wild few weeks. I finally began writing. I started an ongoing story. I forewarned everyone that I was keeping the chapters short because, well I am afraid my focus would wander and my dear muse would give me the finger before she walked out. Not much went on today. Got up at 6:30 for a morning tennis squad. Sleeping at 1 am is not indicative of good decision making on my part. Volunteer Work- Day 8 and Day 9

On Day 8 (which was Friday, July 5th) and Day 9 (July 9th), I worked on the inventory for my 4th box. This particular box was mainly the files of paperwork from the parades, going from the 1980's to the 2000's. Randomness and life

So.... its been over a week (almost 2) since I've last heard from a really good friend. It's kind of put me in a funk. Last time this happened with someone else I never heard from the person again and this person was there to help me through it and now.... gosh its a real pain in the ass.
