    Steve has climbed into his cave and don't wake him up until the end of April.  I think it it is @Slytherin's turn to stay awake this winter   That bear just happens to be the colour of outdoors.  We got dumped on the past week. No road lanes, no sidewalks, no nothing. All buried in snow. It is beautiful if you don't need to go out into it  Also, the temperature dropped into the minus celsius without windchill  Winter is here, I hereby declare. May you all share the wonder of it

Reminder

I received a letter in the mail today from AARP. On the outside in red, all cap, sans serif, heavy block letters was the word REMINDER. Redirection

I was starting to read a Sanitaria Springs story by dabeagle when "I Can Hear Music" by The Beach Boys came on and I got to thinking about what happened today. Brady's Story Hits Close To Home

Okay, so yesterday I woke up to check my emails, and I get a daily 'news' email from our local news feed. And the headline hit me: Loudoun Teen Overcomes Heartbreaking Obstacles in Life..." We had a bad storm in February, which meant our carnival parade has been cancelled. My city is famous for its political floats and we couldn't just not have a parade, which means we had it today.   The weather was perfect, so were the floats IMO.   For those who speak a little German, although most of the floats are self-explanatory.

If It's Sunny, Why Am I Getting Rained On.

My mother used to joke that if it wasn't for bad luck I'd have none at all. Just want people to know I haven't faded away.   I'd had a temporary fix on the computer but before February was over so was the fix. Computer dead beyond repair. Caesura - Delays

There's no talking around this: I'm stuck. The first chapter and prologue is written, but I'm not happy. Beside some minor things I'm struggling with perspectives. I'm experimenting with authorial (omniscient) narrator perspective, but I'm afraid I end up head-hopping a lot. The other option is I change the perspective mid-story, not ideal either. My writing therapy program has come to fruition. I finished chapter 1 of 319 Winesap Lane and it came in at over 5,600 words. I suspected all I needed to do was get a good storyline and a couple characters to get this thing going, but it’s been much easier than I thought. Filet Mignon And Girl Scout Cookies

'Tis the season, Girl Scout cookies are out and it's time for some serious money exchanging and pigging out on Thin Mints, which have to be the most cost effective cookie in the collection. Updates On Writing And Some Stuff

0's and 1's is coming back soon!   I have been busy for the last two months between a trip to Vegas and some other stuff at work, but I am back into writing Book 2. Currently I have 2 opening pieces edited and ready, but I want to give myself at least 8 chapters lead time just like Book 1, which worked well.   It will be a scheduled release of 1 chapter a week, with an occasional special like Memorial day or July 4th Independence Day.   As for other projects, I had an interesting thought t

Is This The End?

I knew I was jeopardizing my creative abilities by increasing the amount of Depakote I take to stabilize my mental state and, happily, I am now stabilized and do not fear having a misstep leading to a fatal plunge into nothingness.
