My everyday grammar has changed since I've been in Florida. I still drop "wicked" every now and again, but I will admit...... I've picked up "y'all" and "all y'all" pretty quick. If I had a quarter for everytime one of my southern friends has looked at me and said "y'all ain't right" I could retire comfortably right now. 🤣

I have a  story to tell you about something but I have no pic of what I am going to tell you. My mom owned a bar back in the late 70's and a customer brought her a plaque and me a coat rack to put behind the bar. The only problem about them, even though everyone died laughing, was the plaque for my mom was the backend of a horses ass. Mine was the part you hung coats on that were penis's. I was so embarrassed. My mom had the guy mount them to the wall for everyone to see! When we closed the bar down years later, the plaque and the coat rack stayed in the building!

Thanks, but my past will be with me for life and it is nothing I can do about it. I am at least grateful that my stepson forgives me and trusts me now and loves me.

Looks like its going to be a weekend of cooking. Turkey pot pie, jalapeno shredded chicken and banana nut bread are on the agenda. Should keep us stocked in lunches for a couple of weeks! 

Christmas stuff going up too. Hubby brought the boxes and totes out last weekend and reminded me we threw out the old tree last year. It was getting pretty sad, the closer it got to Christmas, the more lights went out. I ordered a new tree and it got here this week, so decorations here I come! Hopefully the outdoor lights aren't massively tangled!

I can't make enough of this stuff. Ever. 

I'd also like to apologize to everyone for the future flour shortage. I decided to make pie crust from scratch. Flour. Everywhere. I mean, how did I get it on the coffeemaker which was on another counter? I did not, however get any on my face or in my hair. I guess I've successfully trained myself not to touch my face during this whole covid thing. 🤣

But seriously, the jalapeno chicken is the absolute bomb! I usually use a little extra jalapeno and you can skip the bacon, but it's much better with it. Enjoy!

@kbois, you and I cook the same, lol. I get stuff all over everything , but the only difference between you and I, is that I do get stuff all over me. Makes my messes horrible and that is why I don't cook. I can fix a sandwich and not make messes so that is what I eat mostly of when I am by myself then my step daughter in law will cook for me. Unless she doesn't want to herself out of her camper. lol

I was losing my big toenail and earlier I felt something in my footlet and I pulled that footlet off fast! I freaked out thinking there was a bug in my sock! I pulled the sock inside outwards and it was not a bug (THANK GOODNESS), it was my toenail. It finally came off. It feels a little weird now though lol

Well, the cold weather here does not like my stepson's truck. I had to give his truck a jump. Then told them they had to move that huge stump out of the way so I could drive through to go back under my carport. I told them it had to be moved so I could get through the area so I would not hurt another tire.

My husband, friends, and I were driving around one time in town and I went down the wrong street cause I missed my turn. So I turned around in a auto part store that was closed down that day, which was a Sunday, and I heard hissing and I stopped the car and I had to have them change a tire. We had the tire fixed and he told everyone, teasing me all the time, 'that Sherye is the only person I have ever seen that can find a bolt and it puncture a tire'. 

So the moral of this story is I am the magnet for bolts! lol

I think my female border collie thinks she is my exercise instructor! She runs from one end of the trailer until I get up to let her out then she lays down after I get up. I will go sit down again and 5 minutes later, it happens again. This goes on for about 30 minutes until she decides she really wants outside. "Susie, this is not a gym! This is our house! I want to relax!" lol

Me too. I hold an advanced degree in that subject. We got an oil diffuser and some lavender oil which is supposed to promote restful sleep and my husband drops off like a ton of bricks while I lay there thinking  "hmmm, lavender smells nice."

Hopefully the zzzzz's won't stay away too long.
