Popular Post Mark Arbour Posted August 9, 2024 Popular Post Posted August 9, 2024 (edited) 1 hour ago, Jason Rimbaud said: If this choice you are referring is no to the dogs, which I am assuming as you love them. Multiple reasons, the first one, because a few months ago, after working nearly two years to open my restaurant, I wanted to take some much needed time off with my husband, but because we have two cats, he didn't want to leave them alone for two days. So I had to go to Vegas by myself. I am way too selfish to want to take care of something that smells, barks, and then shits and pisses on the street. I am not picking up shit for anything or anyone. That's why no to dogs. Kids, same reason, except I'd have to talk to it, no thank you. Why did I settle for a cat? Because out of my three choices, that was the path of least resistance. So my husband gets an orange female cat that from the moment we took it out of the box, latched on to me and is my shadow. Sleeps on my face, and is never ten feet away from me at any given time. Even takes showers with me. So my husband, out of jealousy that something loves me more than him, though the reasoning was so that "MY" cat wasn't alone during the long hours we work, decided to get another cat when I was at work. A black and white female cat that latched on to him and follows him around. Then that cat decided to eat a long string that got stuck inside her track and nearly killed her. On a side note, when the vet told me how much it would cost for the surgery and the cat only had a fifty fifty chance to live, I looked at my husband and was about to say no, he said with tears in his eyes, I can't lose her. So twenty-three thousand dollars later we have a shaved cat with about twenty stitches along her belly. The cat that claimed me, peaches, is a nice mellow cat, the cat that claimed him, Kali, is completely insane. Kali means goddess of death by the way, the little bastard lives up to her name. So earlier when I said, cats and dogs and kids are all on the same playing field, I meant it. But those cats brings him much happiness and pleasure. So I'll suffer through a 12 pound cat sleeping on my face and wanting me to shampoo it when I shower every morning. Because my heart broke when he said, I can't lose her. That was a really nice thing you did for your man. Kudos. Edit: You're adorable. Edited August 9, 2024 by Mark Arbour 1 8

Thank you. But before you all go thinking I'm a good person, I made him get pet insurance, so I did get half of it back after a month or so. Kali did get a bit more attached to me, as I was the one that was by her side through all the vet visits and her surgery. Longest three days of my life to be truthful. 2 3 3

Kali did get a bit more attached to me, as I was the one that was by her side through all the vet visits and her surgery. Longest three days of my life to be truthful. I love animals, especially cats. I had a cat who was absolutely amazing. He died last year at the age of 21. It was more painful than losing a family member. When he was about 15, he developed a tumor in his thyroid and needed a treatment that cost about $5000. My wife (I'm bisexual) questioned the money, got the glare from hell, and told me to write the check. Support like you gave him was meaningful. We just adopted a rescue cat (he's about 9 months old) and has major kitten energy. He's a blast, I have cuts on my arms from play scratching and biting, but I could give a shit less. 11

I must confess that I am left wondering why. I know from reading the comments not all were flattering but as authors we have to accept that. Is there a reason for its removal? I am curious to know why. I actually recommended all the stories but had not reviewed any of them yet. I wanted to have time to do all the reviews at one time. I actually did like Dangerous Activities but understand it would not have been everyone's cup of tea. 5 2

And the humor/humour tracks @kbois personality. Which is why I think you wrote Yacht Club. I'm probably wrong, but I think I might die on that hill. Even after the authors are revealed, I'll just say that its a conspiracy against me. J still didn't write that 1 4 2
