How to get approximately 3 kg of hazelnuts in not time and with no effort? Tell a group of 3 to 5 yo it's a treasure to collected and the group with the fullest bin will win the competition

After recess they were very excited, it was warm and they were hot so putting them back in the classroom would have been a pain. Here comes my mastermind plan: sending them to collected hazelnuts on the patch of grass behind the building. They were the happiest, picking hazelnuts in the grass, saying how they were gonna be rich  a little guy put so many nuts in his pants pockets it was slipping down his legs  

It wasn't planned, it was outside of some would say the regular program but they had so much fun, enjoyed the outdoor, cooperate, learned new things and I can refered to this next week to talk about fall, the season change and they'll definitely remember it. In the end they get more from this little improvised afternoon "fun" than if I'd tried to wrangled them inside. So yup mastermind

Not sure the parents will like this as much when they'll still find hazelnuts in pockets and at the bottom of backpack for weeks
