Nos sounds like he needs to fully open to Cam to be free of the fear. But he doesn’t know that. Cam is happily showing him around. And slowing things down sexually even if he wanted to get mating, which is a struggle. -

House fires have a tendency to happen with this family, but only for seriously bad people… Tristian has been locked in a safe for a while? Did Jack know about the teleportation ability and have this built to block that? Little B didn’t touch anything on the car. It must have had some serious electrical problems… -

I thought I was in a different story when I started this chapter before I realized it was a POV change. Love the interactions. Gay roommate. Out and open is a good start. New job to go along with classes, wonder who will be a regular at the coffee shop?

Very glad Matt was quickly seen by the doctors and his leg stabilized, and there was not much further damage done in the fall. Levi downplayed his role, but it was important and his dad recognized that. The job, and the volunteering would be good for him.

Interesting what I call “celebration of life”, not a memorial. The conversations after just supporting Alex moving on in life and friends change. Neil seems to get along with most people so it’s nice to have him along. He doesn’t seem as shy as he was in the beginning. The decision again on postponing the thought of children is good. Wonder if Neil’s brother gets the same prodding from their mother? -
Eli goes down the stairs into the dark unknown, like descending into the recesses of his mind, not knowing what he might encounter. Lucien is not what he thought he might encounter. A Vampire with restraint who had been following him. The sub basement must extent to under the library for them to have heard each other. Will Eli ask any of his new friends about this discovery? Especially since the initiation ceremony took place on top of the entrance to the hiding place. Will Adrien say something first? Keep on the path to recovery.

This whole chapter sets the tone for what is coming, isolating Eli. Letting him face whatever is under the chapel alone.

August has more than enough land and funds now to make this a very successful venture. A very loving couple of grandmothers, and a great partner and friends. They could build a new house on the other farm to house their growing group of friends. Lovely ending to a great story. Interesting that Patrick’s major is the only practical one in the house. It’ll like he chose this place to study, and anticipated becoming the boyfriend. -
Withe the title of this chapter, I was thinking our friend hiding in the barn was being a ghost, stealing food at knight, nit the pejorative word for Kidd’s physical appearance. It is good that Jo was taken in by his loving grandparents and then came to the ranch after their passing. Shanna is going to get what’s coming to her for her behavior and contribution to the harm of people on the ranch.

Seems like Kaleo is back to work and wants to out bid his former lover for this new project. Is the brother in law tampering with family assets before the divorce? This could get messy. Why is the ex having Kaleo followed?

Sky really did convince Brant that this would not hurt their relationship. I’m guessing Hector will be asked… cast and crew in place, just need a script to get filming.

Miles, first wasn’t sure he wanted to pursue a higher education, then is being codependent with Troy and acting all jealous before going to therapy… wonder if Troy got a pic of painted Miles before he disappeared. Troy had a feeling some was going to happen, just maybe not quite so soon… hopefully he continues to get help, wherever he has gone to. We know that his birth parents are in jail, and he has no communication with them. Maybe something from his time with them is coming up?

The shift happened under the stress of almost dying…. Harsh way to force a wolf to come out and protect itself. Xavier was upset at Aaron for helping, and then apparently upset at himself for what he said and leaving when Austin haven’t turned yet. Hopefully some mating happens and they are back to being on good terms.

Richard finally realized that he needed to love himself first. Then he would not be so stuck in infatuation. Nicholas was so clueless about his “friend’s” life and feelings even during their reconciliation…. He has a good friend in Harriett and is surrounded by a loving family. This does seem like a good place for this story to end.

They meet at a random Halloween party. The sex is good, and they both want more.

They are returning to something approaching normal. It would be hard to write about the normal life editing out all of the harsh reality of their deployment. And a beginning of a relationship that is more than friendship.
