This is the third and final part of the Confounded Trilogy, portraying a May - December story with familiar characters.

You would be wise to (re)read the previous parts of this trilogy, to get reacquainted with the characters; some you will know, some are new. Some references will hark back to previous writings, and will make more sense. This story is told from perspectives, so called Points of View (POV).

Long Day is one of my first stories and follows Jake Tull who suffers from aphasia - which manifests in his being restricted to, mostly, repeating recorded words like song lyric. An all time favorite of mine.

He is thrust into a world with people like him and has embraced magic as a good in the world. But with this chance meeting comes a web of secrets, lies, and prophecies that bind him and his new friend closer than he could have ever imagined...
